Volunteer
We rely on our band of volunteers - all unpaid volunteers – to help us raise funds and spread the message about what we do and how we help our veterans and reservists who suffer from military trauma. So if you have a few hours a week – or days a month – available to help, you could find this to be a very satisfying way to help a great cause. The role of a Volunteer is as follows:- 1. Fund-raising: to help us to raise donations at a County or City level. We can provide you with ideas, collection boxes, leaflets – everything you'll need to help. 2. Team-building: to meet with other volunteer supporters, to work together to promote our cause and raise funds. 3. Local representation: to liaise with PTSD Resolution centrally, with a phone call or meeting a few times a year, so that we can review what is happening at a local and national level and answer any questions that you may have. 4. Local media relations: to provide local press, radio, TV with regular news and views about PTSDR. Our PR adviser can assist you with this too, by providing professionally-written press releases So, to find out more, please email contact@ptsdresolution.org - please put "Volunteering" in the subject line of the email. |
