		D-Day: 80th Anniversary On the 6th of June we will honour the 80th anniversary of the Normandy Landings. On this date in 1944, Allied forces launched a massive amphibious assault on the beaches of Normandy, France, to liberate Western Europe from Nazi occupation. Involving 156,000 troops, the D-Day landings marked a pivotal moment in World War II. To mark this significant milestone, PTSD Resolution is launching a new short film to raise awareness of the mental health issues faced by Veterans - and the support available to them.

		BE A SUPERHERO: HELP MARTIN CARVER HELP UK VETERANS This Saturday 3rd July 2021 Martin Carver is taking on the ‘Wolf Run’ - a hardcore 10km wild running challenge - to raise much needed funds for PTSD Resolution. Held in Warwickshire, the Wolf Run is designed to test mental strength as much as physical - something that resonated with Martin, an ex-Parachute Regiment Veteran. “PTSD is also a daily challenge for those who suffer,” he says. At 60, with a son in the Royal Marines, the welfare of ex-service personnel is a cause close to Martin’s heart. “Like all ex-military people I have had friends that have had PTSD - and they continue to struggle with it.”

		Jonathan Thomson rides the NC500 raising awareness for PTSD Resolution During October 2020 a single rider set off on a 7-day attempt to ride the famous North Coast 500 through the highlands of Scotland. An incredibly tough ride even for young somethings. This unique and circular route starts and ends in Inverness. Totals: 7 days, 862.1 K, (535 miles) 11,005 m climb, 48.61 hours in the saddle. Not bad for a 75-year-old.
