Do you want to help us in this great cause, to help our Veterans, Reservists and their families?
We are always looking for volunteers. If you have a few hours to spare a day, a week or only a month, then you can help. It’s rewarding work that makes a huge contribution to communities.
Fundraisers: we need fundraisers of all types to collect on our behalf. Perhaps you can collect via your local supermarket, pub or sporting club. We can supply collection boxes, leaflets and other material, and authorisation to collect on our behalf. This is an occasional or one-off role, as you choose.
Pub Hub: do you have a local or local pubs that you go to regularly? If you could talk to the local manager and ask him or her to feature one of our collection boxes – it would be great. We have many ideas for publicans to raise donations – but we need local coordinators to go into the pub. This is a continuing role, involving a few hours a month to visit the pubs.
Please see Pub Hub page.
Local Champions: to form a local group of volunteers to help us; to meet with our local PTSDR therapist and talk to local voluntary groups, such as the Lions and RoundTable. This is a continuing role, involving a few hours a week.
All roles are unpaid. Any reasonable expenses incurred will be reimbursed. Any required support or training will be provided.
“It’s great to be involved, to know that I am making a real contribution to making someone’s life better, supporting a therapy programme that really does work.”
