Rosalind Townsend
TrusteeRosalind Townsend is an experienced psychotherapist with busy practices in both Helston, Cornwall and Plymouth. She has a special interest in working with those affected by psychological trauma and has worked extensively with military veterans, through PTSD Resolution, and members of the blue light services. Interest in this particular area of psychotherapy was first sparked by conversations with her late father, who served as a navigator in the RAF during the Second World War and the Berlin Airlift. Her passion, alongside swimming in the sea and walking the cliffs, is ensuring that information and support for those affected by trauma and other forms of emotional distress is available, when most needed, in accessible and effective form. She is author of the book 'PTSD: Understanding and Recovery' and lives in Cornwall with her two children.
