Soldiering On Awards
Colonel Tony Gauvain (retired) Chairman and founder of PTSD Resolution, recently attended a private reception at the House of Lords. Accompanied by his wife Debbie and PTSD Resolution's CEO, Charles Highett, the occasion was to celebrate the finalists of the 2023 Soldiering On Awards. Tony was one of the distinguished finalists in the Health & Rehabilitation category.
Hosted by the Awards Patron, the Rt Hon Earl Howe GBE PC, the reception at the Palace of Westminster welcomed an array of attendees. From the finalists themselves to defence and government leaders, and representatives from military charities and major businesses, the event was a meeting of minds and efforts all centred on supporting the Armed Forces community.
Now in its 13th year, the Soldiering On Awards acknowledge the achievements of those who have served our country. The awards provide a platform to recognise the diverse individuals and groups working tirelessly in aid of the Armed Forces community.
The winners will be revealed at an exclusive black-tie event to be held at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster Bridge. The event will be hosted by special guest presenter, Jeremy Vine. The stakes are high for Tony and the PTSD Resolution team as we look forward to the occasion.
“The Soldiering On Awards remain a key platform for recognising and appreciating extraordinary contributions of individuals like Tony and organisations such as PTSD Resolution. Their unwavering commitment to the noble cause continues to inspire and bring about change across the UK," says charity CEO Charles Highett.
