"In 1994, about three years after my tour of Northern Ireland, I began to experience symptoms of trauma. I didn't do anything about it until 2005 when I went for counselling. This seemed to work for a while but when the symptoms returned, I needed a more permanent fix. I found about PTSDR while I was in Armley Prison and the treatment has really helped me. "It is so different to the counselling, especially being put to sleep and doing the Rewind technique, but I am so much less anxious and more confident. My sleep has really improved too and I have far fewer flashback than before. Because I'm not so anxious, my relationships with others have also improved. I would definitely recommend PTSDR to other sufferers out there."
