Star Fundraiser Jonathan Thomson Sets Off on 'Last Ride' for PTSD Resolution

DAY 7: Wednesday 18th September 2024 - Reflections on ‘Pyrenees 24’
You have very kindly followed us over the last week as we traversed a small part of the Pyrenees on our bikes in aid of PTSD Resolution.
We cycled up high and challenging mountains and survived the adrenalin rush of fast descents. We rode through cold forests, past ancient and ruined châteaux, along narrow and steep-sided gorges and little lanes winding between fields being prepared for winter, and on disused railway tracks, relics of nineteenth century industry.
We witnessed a cat basking on a road survive by a whisker (sorry….!) as three bikes screamed past inches away and we finished one particularly grueling day by moonlight because distance had defeated time.
And our fundraising has been amply rewarded and we had fun. This has been our last expedition, ever. Thank you for your most amazing support over all the years in which we have cycled in different parts.
We are most grateful. Goodbye, Jonathan on behalf of my fellow Pilgrims: Jez, Matt, Jim & Bill Support this latest venture & together we can help even more: www.justgiving.com/page/jonathan-thomson-1704981361127
