PTSD Resolution on BFBS Radio - 1st October 2024
ID: News 179

Our CEO Charles Highett talks to BFBS's Joe Carden about how PTSD Resolution is treating UK Veterans & families, both in the UK and overseas, via the online therapy we adopted during the pandemic.
Our new Overseas Treatment Initiative aims to connect with UK Veterans worldwide who may be unaware that effective therapy is available to them via the Internet, regardless of their location. Support is also available for family members, who may be affected by living with a traumatised person.
- What do we mean by online therapy? One-to-one therapy sessions via Skype or Zoom, in the comfort of your home.
BFBS (British Forces Broadcasting Service) provides entertainment, information, and support services to the UK armed forces, their families, and veterans all over the world, including to remote locations.
BFBS was established in 1943 by the British War Office (now the Ministry of Defence) to provide radio and television programmes for His Majesty's Armed Forces and their dependents worldwide. For over 80 years, BFBS has been serving those who serve, maintaining its core role of keeping armed forces personnel, families, and veterans connected to home and each other.
