Kenya 400: Watamu or Bust! Day 0
ID: 250825

Over these last summer days, join us on a (vicarious) trip across Kenya - as we follow the adventures of the Kenya 400 team!
What is Kenya 400? It’s a 420 km, 5-day fundraising cycle, kicking off today (Monday 25th August). The team (all turning 70 this year) - Charles (our CEO), Tony, Alistair, Simon, Adam and Paul - will pedal from Ziwani near the Tanzanian border to Watamu on Kenya’s coast, covering up to 100 km a day through the breathtaking Tsavo game reserves.
This epic challenge marks 50 years of friendship but, more importantly, it’s raising vital funds for our Veterans and families. Every £940 raised funds a complete course of therapy that can transform a life: www.justgiving.com/campaign/
Along the way the team will encounter an extraordinary variety of wildlife - as you can see from the pics already coming through! We’ll be sharing pics and updates, sent back from Kenya each evening, after a long day’s cycling.
Keep an eye out for updates on our Facebook, X, Instagram and LinkedIn - and check out our PTSDR Flickr page for the full gallery: www.flickr.com/photos/ptsd_
Best of luck to the Kenya 400 crew!!
