"Prior to getting help from PTSD Resolution, my life was in chaos. I had no attention span, I was snappy and jumpy and never got anything done. It was a nightmare for my wife because I spent all of my days rushing around, trying to make the day end sooner.
"I don't know why because I dreaded the nights. That's when the flashbacks and the nightmares came, despite drinking in excess to try and make myself sleep. Then, on 17 November 2015, I had finally reached my limit and I broke down.
"But, luckily, a knowledgeable friend put me in touch with PTSD Resolution. Through a combination of therapy and anti-depressants, I wake up every morning and am able to enjoy the day. I don't argue all the time, like I used to, and so my relationships with others have really improved. I am no longer challenging and neurotic, but approachable and conversational. I sleep well at night too.
"There are always challenges in my daily life, be it at home or at work. But I can now deal with the little things that would wind me up and spoil my day, without any negative consequences. As time goes by, I find myself getting better and better at coping.
"Uncharacteristically, I have experienced two spells of waking very early but they were not caused by nightmares or flashbacks so it has not been detrimental to me, at all. My therapist has been a great help to me, my wife and my career. I am grateful for her expertise in dealing with a mess which I thought unfathomable and, so, from me and my family, I say a huge thank you to PTSD Resolution."
