"I knew there was something wrong when I returned from service in Northern Ireland. I tried to carry on as normal and not talk about it, like other soldiers, but I had regular flashbacks and couldn't bear anything to do with the Army, even though my husband was still a serving member. Things were so bad that I have been known to hide under the table when a car backfired. Finally, a few years ago, I realised that I had PTSD.
"Getting in touch with PTSD Resolution was easy and the initial assessment wasn't too intense. After this, I was quickly assigned a therapist who has really helped me to regain control over my life. I don't feel anxious anymore nor do I have any flashbacks or triggers. In fact, I have even attended a memorial service and though I felt some emotion, it was not traumatic in any way. I would definitely recommend PTSD Resolution to others in my situation."
