"The therapy has put my life back on track after 25 years. PTSD from my childhood and years of army service, especially in N.Ireland, affected everything in my life. I was angry, and I thought everyone else was wrong. I had lost my marriage; I was homeless and unemployed – after trying 35 jobs and had misused alcoholic. I had severe road rage and anger in everything. I was Isolated, unable to reach out for help from others and thought no one understood. "I have been given coping strategies to deal with everyday situations that I had sometimes thought were impossible to deal with, and had avoided. For once in my life, I have found a job I love: a relationship I want and enjoy. "The therapy has brought me closer to my children who are seeing a different side of their father to the father they grew up with. Before therapy I blamed everyone else for my situation. Now I am able to take responsibility for myself and my actions. I have been able to enjoy doing things for others, to please them and have a genuine interest in their well being. I am waking up with a smile on my face for the first time in 25 years."
