“I have just completed treatment with my PTSD Resolution therapist. It has been extraordinary.

“It was, in fact, my wife who asked me to seek treatment - after an episode - and I made her a promise that I would. I should say that I made the appointment with PTSD Resolution more to please my wife and to honour our agreement - and had no expectations of a resolution to my PTSD. In fact, I did not want to even accept that I might have PTSD.

“My therapist was so patient and understanding with me that I slowly came to accept my condition and probably more importantly, to confront it. That was emotional at times and yet I felt better for it. Maybe I had kept it ‘down’ for too long?

“Patiently and with great understanding, my therapist took me through a process where I confronted past events and learnt how to deal with them. I never would have believed this was possible. She explained what was going on within me, in a way that was easy to understand and remember.

“After my fifth treatment I was able to implement a procedure that she taught me - and was able to divert what would have, in the past, resulted in a very unpleasant episode.

“I now feel better equipped to deal with PTSD and I also know that should I have a problem going forward, she is only a telephone call away.

“I am fortunate to have a very happy and stable family and social life, which has been a great support. I have opened up to my wife and family - and this has been a great help.

“I would absolutely recommend PTSD Resolution to anyone who is seeking help. What I thought was going to be a fruitless exercise turned out to be a resolution to a problem that I did not even want to confront. Thank you!”
