Give the Gift to Help the Relief from Mental Trauma

Armed Forces Covenant - Awards for Defence Employer Recognition Scheme

Pass on something wonderful

As a charity, we rely on the generosity of supporters to continue our work in helping Forces’ Veterans, Reservists and their families.  By including a gift to PTSD Resolution in your Will you are helping veterans for many years to come.

Why should I leave a gift?

With your help, we can relieve the effects of military trauma with therapy that is prompt, compassionate and effective. History has shown that the need for treatment of Veterans suffering from PTSD will continue and charities like our must be ready and resourced to provide this vital service for this generation and beyond.

PTSD Resolution provides free therapy for the mental welfare of Forces’ Veterans, Reservists and their families. Treatment is delivered locally, through a network of 200 therapists nationwide, with resolution of symptoms in an average five sessions.

Of course, your loved ones should always come first, but if you could consider a gift to PTSD Resolution it will make a difference to the life of a veteran and his or her family. Please see testimonials.

What your gift can do

A gift in your Will helps people like DL, a veteran of Northern Ireland, Algeria, Bosnia, Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.

"During a period of 14 years there were a number of events which I now consider to be traumatic. The first was in 1998. It is very difficult to say when I first noticed something was wrong. I believe now that over many years I changed. I can identify points, however it was not until 2018 that I felt my world falling apart. I was unable to feel anything positive and was constantly angry.

"My wife made contact with PTSD Resolution. Initially the sessions were very difficult and emotional. I had no idea at that stage how much turmoil and grief I had been carrying for a number of years. After a number of sessions I began to become more at ease with myself and my life, decisions I had made and events I had experienced. Without doubt the most significant result was an overwhelming feeling of positivity. It was as if a blanket had been lifted off me and it was okay to live life and enjoy it, to love the ones around me and not feel guilty all the time."
